Karen and her staff are incredible. She truly cares , listens, is open minded , very knowledgeable and wants to find solutions to make your life better . I am so thankful to have found her and her staff. She’s also helped my son after years of seeing almost every dept at the UW ; she’s been the one who listens and finds solutions. I have been a patient of Karen's and Essential Health for the past 31/2 yrs and I am thankful EVERYDAY for her, the knowledge that she has is mind-blowing! She got me back to my HEALTHY HAPPY pre-menopause self! I will be 60 this year and I feel better then I have since in my 40's! One week after my first appointment and starting the hormone therapy and supplements Karen recommended I was a different person! back to my old self- no more hot flashes - sleeping better- more energy -not grumpy or short tempered with my poor family and husband. I now know you do NOT need to feel crappy or miserable going through menopause or while aging as my previous traditional MD's told me. Also in the past year I have had the pleasure of having Karen's RN-Tina for some of my appointments - she is also very knowledgeable, kind and truly cares about helping with any issues I have, she has also helped to keep me feeling GREAT- HAPPY and HEALTHY! Karen has a great team working with her at Essential Health from her RN to ALL her office staff, they are very good at returning my calls and emails timely when I leave a message and they are always pleasant to speak with, I know they are very busy and I am only 1 of the 1000's of their patients, but I feel they try very hard to get back to me and help with ordering refills, scheduling my appointments or any questions I may have. I would highly recommend Essential Health -Karen and her entire staff.

After giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to share my experience. I really appreciated working with Karen. She's incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful when it comes to women's health. That being said, dealing with her office over the last year has been a nightmare. (To give full context, my interactions were remote, which might have influenced my experience, possibly being better in person). I've received the wrong medication more than once, syringes that weren't the right size, confusing directions that contradicted what Karen had prescribed, and broken medical applicators. Whenever I've attempted to address these issues, the office's response has been lackluster, showing urgency only when it came to retrieving someone else's temperature-sensitive medication that was sent me. On matters related to my prescriptions or the problems I faced, the response was virtually non-existent. This led to me losing a significant amount of money on medications I couldn't use. Despite communicating my frustrations and being promised resolutions, after three months of no updates, I've reached my limit. It's disappointing because I really felt I was on the cusp of improving my health, but the stress and challenges of dealing with the office's mismanagement have proven too much for me. If you can find a way to work with Karen directly, I would fully encourage that. But if you have to deal with the office, be aware that there are serious issues.

Highly Recommend this establishment! Very personalized and professional. Comfy and cozy, not like other doctor offices. Am so impressed with Dr. Alyssa, who found things, other doctors missed, with my daughter. This is HOW, Real Personal Care, is provided. Alot of holistic healing options, which I, totally believe in, than just a pill. Pete greets you, and both, run this clinic. While traveling to Iowa, to see my daughter, I got sick, this is The Only Place, I felt Safe enough to go to. Very comfortable, was bronchitis, and got meds right away. Am Happy to reoprt, cleared right up, made me better in no time, to enjoy my time, in Iowa. Thank you Dr. Alyssa, and Pete, for your comforting hospitality, and speedy service, to help me. I would give you 100 Gold Stars, if I could! More offices, should be, like yours, comfy and cozy! Not snubbed, nosed, uppity, people in corporate offices. 100%☆☆☆☆☆
