I have known Dr Loya now for a few years through professional relationships with each other's businesses. Her approach to medicine is truly inspiring and the staff and team that she has built at the Hormone Center is truly amazing. It's nice to get a fresh look at your health and not have to automatically just turn to pills and medications. Taking a holistic approach is wonderful and I would recommend anyone looking to view things outside of the traditional lens of medicine to seek out the Hormone Center

I've been a patient for over a decade and this the best care I have received! Dr. Loya is extremely thorough and knowledgeable about health and wellness. The staff is efficient and very responsive. I am able to be seen in the office or via video or phone appointment. I'd give this review 10 stars, if I could!!

The nurse I see is great but you get a 2 star for your $75 cancelation fee. Iv'e been going there for years, ridiculous! I tried to cancel 6 days ahead of time but they charge you anyway. They need to understand sometimes people have unexpected matters in their lives and need to reschedule without paying a fee, you are already extremely expensive, you should treat your loyal patients better!

I have been seeing Dr. Loya for over ten years to treat several serious disorders. She is the only physician that would actually listen to me and to treat my thyroid disorder which has been very challenging. She literally has saved my life and my family and I are incredibly grateful for her patience, empathy, and excellent clinical skills. I would not go anywhere else!!!

The Hormone Center is saving my life. For my entire life I have been told I was fat and that the only solution was diet and exercise. Well, I tried that. What's crazy is I had been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and was showing distinct symptoms of PCOS as early as 8 years old, but no doctors believed me. When I moved to Pittsburgh I wanted to look for a doctor who would manage my thyroid not as a singular organ but as a whole body issue. I was not expecting them to do everything. But the Hormone Center does that- everything. I consider them to be the most important physicians on my care team and all other opinions defer to them. I still have a very long way to go on my health journey, but that is because the folks here believe in doing things in the healthiest way possible. They will not wreck my body in the name of faster results. And they will not toss me aside when I'm "better" because they know and understand that my conditions are lifelong and need to be monitored for the rest of my life. I started seeing them at the beginning of this year and my life has significantly improved. I am able to play with my nephews again, I can breathe, I was finally able to conquer depression, and most importantly, they believed me about my weight. They figured out that I have insulin resistance and that is why I can't lose weight. They have been treating me for it and for the first time in my life I'm actually losing weight!!! I have lost nearly 30 lbs this year and I'm confident that I could lose another 10 before new years. I understand that the price may make you reconsider, but if you have the funds, I urge you to ask yourself: what is the cost of having a better life? I do not regret a single penny paid and I'm so glad to finally reclaim my personhood, with their expert help.
