Anita Petruzzelli, MD

Dr. Petruzzelli is, without a doubt, a highly competent physician who performs her work with excellence. I came to her completely overwhelmed by the symptoms of menopause. When I say overwhelmed, I mean both my mental and physical health were deeply affected. My marriage was almost falling apart because I didn’t even like myself—how could I love my husband? Dr. Petruzzelli welcomed me and truly listened to me. Through hormonal treatment, I was able to come out of rock bottom, and a new woman was born thanks to her expertise and dedication. It has been five years now, and every day I feel better. I am incredibly grateful to have her as my doctor and I highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Dr. Anita Petruzzelli! Not just for HRT, but for me, my overall health. Dr. Petruzzelli is a skilled medical doctor who pays very close attention to the patient, examining bloodwork with an elevated, experienced eye. I had a traumatic experience after my supracervical hysterectomy. Though an OB at the time did place me on estrogen (oral), I was told I could only be on it for 1 year and it gave minimal relief of onset of horrible symptoms. At the time I journaled 38 hot flashes daily and was overwhelmed with the loss of “me”. There is a saying, “You are not you, without me, kindly your Ovaries”. Well it is true! However, Dr. Petruzzelli gave me back my life and I have worked with her since 2019. She monitors my health with interest, professionalism, and if anything questionable is observed, she seeks further testing! I can go on about her warm bedside manner but will just add that all office staff is professional and friendly. The offices are very clean to boot! Respectfully, Robin

Anita and her team do an excellent job understanding each client's unique health needs to ensure diagnoses of the whole body. For instance, she meets to understand the current situation, runs diagnostic tests, and prescribes solutions based on individual needs. Anita really helped me get my hormones, nutrients, and overall health back on track. I've never been healthier or in better physical shape at 54. I highly recommend Anita and her team. Her knowledge was a game-changer for my hormones.

I’ve been receiving HRT for over 10 years in several different states, and unfortunately, this was the most disappointing experience I’ve had. I was required to complete medical exams that I believe were unnecessary before I could be seen. Communication between the front office, phone staff, and doctor was very poor, which caused a lot of confusion. The initial consultation alone cost $1,095 and did not include the pellets. I was initially led to believe I would receive pellets during that first appointment, but later was told I’d need to come back another day and pay an additional $552. In total, I spent $1,647 for one round of pellets—over twice what I’ve paid at other clinics. The day of the pellet insertion was also difficult. I experienced significant bleeding for several hours afterward and numbness that lasted nearly two days, which has never happened to me before at any other clinic. I’m sharing this review to help others make informed decisions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend seeking care here.

Always the most knowledgeable in this field and at this time of women’s menopausal health. For men too! I’m trying to get mine to be a patient asap. I literally cried when Dr Petruzzeli told me she was leaving the ob/gyn practice where I met her. She helped tremendously with the birth of my first child. But as our faith teaches us along life’s journey, to flow through, this is where she was needed and where I am so happy to be able to work with her again in my later years. I cannot recommend Anita enough for all she has done and the time she gives of herself more than anyone I know that we deal with medically.
