I thank my lucky stars that I found Dr. Matos. I was feeling so awful and she was immediately able to cater my care to exactly what I needed to start feeling like myself again. The therapy she provides gave me back my energy, helped with my anxiety, and especially with my overall mood and ability to just handle life again! She is absolutely wonderful and I can't recommend her enough!

Let me start by saying Dr. Matos was nice enough but the entire consult gave me a very weird vibe. Something felt off from the moment I arrived. She met with me in her office and told me right out the gate “you’re perimenopause” and that I need to do pellets to feel better. To her credit I asked questions and she answered them but after about 5-7 minutes she cuts to the chase saying “so do you want to do it today?” I pumped the brakes because I’m really not comfortable with the fact that she didn’t really know me and was pushing this product. The deal breaker for me is that pellet therapy is irreversible. If the dosage is too high, I’m stuck. I had to ask questions to get her to tell me that testosterone will give me acne, which she said I could take spironolactone for. But that counteracts the libido benefits of the HRT so then I would just be stuck battling acne. After doing a lot of my own research I opted not to proceed with this treatment and got stuck paying $195 for the consult fee for a 10 min meeting. I am sure this may work for some but I got a very “leave and don’t look back vibe” from this place.

If i could give 10 stars i would..First off let me just say, i am very selective about who i trust with my health care needs.After long hours of research I decided the best approach for me to combat my debilitating menopause symptoms was BHRT. I have been here twice for SottoPelle pellet therapy. From my first phone call, to my in office visits, Wayne, Melissa, Genesis and Tara have each been knowlegeable, professional, thorough and kind in their jobs. Ladies, you do NOT have to suffer with pre and post menopausal symptoms! I did for 10 damn years. No primary "care" or gynecologist had any solutions. I was miserable and my marriage suffered. I had only tried bhrt pellets because I read they may help with migraines. Well, let me tell you, they help with EVERYTHING! As we age we lack in estrogen and testosterone. When men get low, doctors have no problem doing blood work and giving them as much T as they need while we are left to suffer. I am begging all of you, go to Dr. Matos-Cloke, get your hormone levels tested, and get the pellet. My life is 1000% better!
