I exercised sporadically through my life; there was always a meeting or ball game to attend, meals to prepare or work to take my time and I put myself at the low end of priorities. After we retired and moved to be closer to children and grandchildren, I felt the need to make my health a priority. So at age 70 I met Idalia Molina. I was impressed that she saw the ‘whole’ me and besides exercising with her weekly, she made me a meal plan to help me succeed. She understood my medical issues from her training as a nurse and also her own challenges. I was definitely out of shape! I could not even do a shoulder press with a 2lb weight; this due mainly from having breast cancer a few years earlier I have been with Idalia Molina for 11-1/2 years. She has been my advisor, conscience and friend through these years. I can now do the same shoulder press with 8lb weights! I have lost 28 lbs and have stayed in the same range for years .
