View all on GoogleI haven't received any care so my review is just the beginning process and how absolutely worthless it was to even contact them when they knew they were closing the office down and didnt say anything about it. I scheduled an appointment 7 weeks out and a second phone call 2 weeks later with a few questions. Three days before my appointment i send my bloodwork in and call to see if they had received it only to find out "they have no records of who I am." After being speechless with how that could possibly be, they see if they could get me in the day before my normal scheduled day. The receptionist gets back on the phone to then tell me "there has been some new developments, we're actually closing this office permanently at the end of August." No one in that office could have said that 7 weeks prior, or the second phone call, or even the lady I spoke to the third time? This is a medical practice with probably dozens of patients, a lease agreement for office space etc. and there was "new developments." I'll reject that notion before it's responded in a post after this review. That kind of deception makes a place untrustworthy to me.
For my first visit at Men's Health I had contact with the lady in the office and the PA. I was met by the gal at the office window who greeted me, talked to me about insurance, and gave me paperwork to fill out. She did a good job since I missed a couple of questions I was supposed to answer. She then took my insurance card, medicare card, and ID card to make a copy of them. She was professional and friendly. The PA spent was also friendly and professional. He listened to what I had to say, asked a few questions, and then recommened a way to deal with my problem. All went well and I intend to return for a follow-up session. Thanks, Lou
20-25 minute wait past your appointment time. Significant billing discrepancies. The provider seems disinterested in how you are feeling, only interested in what the numbers say and pushes drugs before making changes in current dosing schedules.
Wait time seems to be a persistent issue given the number of comments on this. I had a 1:30 appointment, did not even get taken back to the room until 2:15, and didn't actually see the doctor until 2:30. The doctor seemed disinterested and barely awake.
Like several other reviews, after 30 minutes of waiting, the RN/CNA person informed me that Zach was running late and asked if I could wait another 10-15 minutes. After another 30 minutes, I proceeded to leave. The receptionist's only comments were to tell me she was checking me out so I wasn't charged. No apology, no follow-up call from providers Zach, Tony, or Max, nothing. If this is how they take care of their patient, I definitely don't want them looking after my health care.
