Mullica Hill Medical & Wellness

I just returned from an annual physical exam at Mullica Hill Medical in Vineland under Dr. Malik. I hear other people in the area complain that they do not get great medical attention at other medical practices but this practice has been fantastic for me for many years now. I trust every person in the staff for year round care. Most important, my overall health is better than it was some years ago.

Dr. Malik and his caring staff have provided wonderful medical care to me and my family for over a decade. I highly recommend.

I’ve had several concerning experiences with Mullica Hill Medical & Wellness (MHM&W), primarily related to billing issues and significant lapses in communication. Despite MHM&W being an in-network provider with my insurance, I’ve repeatedly encountered unexpected bills that should have been covered. For instance, after a lab test, my results were sent to an out-of-network lab, leading to a significant bill and eventually a small claims court situation. This was extremely frustrating and time-consuming, especially since I was assured beforehand that my insurance would cover the costs. Another troubling incident involved a visit for wrist pain. I clearly indicated, multiple times, that the pain was in my left wrist, yet I was given an X-ray for my right wrist. This kind of mistake raises serious concerns about the attention to detail and overall quality of care. I still don’t understand how that happened. Even when I returned for a routine appointment, I was again billed despite my insurance being on file. While this issue was eventually resolved, the repeated administrative errors are concerning. On the positive side, the medical care from Dr. Malik was competent, and the treatment provided for another issue was effective. However, these positives are overshadowed by the consistent problems with billing and communication, as well as the significant error with the X-ray. In summary, while the medical care itself is adequate, the administrative and communication issues, particularly the X-ray mistake, have left me very dissatisfied with MHM&W. They need to make significant improvements in their post-visit patient care and ensure that billing and medical procedures are handled with more precision.

Had a Gr8 visit today Nurse was very attentive asked several questions about discomfort and medication and as always Dr.Rajesh is very thorough in his assessment my mother is 85 yrs old and I wouldn’t bring her anywhere else Ty Doc and Mullica Hill Staff!
