I was introduced to Dr. Lawson by a close and long time friend after mentioning some health items I have been troubled over and struggling with. I made an appt and my first consultation w/ Dr. Lawson was AMAZING! She listened intently and showed so much care. Immediately, she began to map out a wellness plan to tackle each of my concerns and lab results so I can begin to feel great once again. I’m on my way and just grateful for Dr. Lawson.

I have relief after 9 years of suffering, thanks to proactive wellness! They are willing to listen and find unique solutions to complex problems. Not only did they successfully diagnose my underlying neurodegenerative disorder, they sought to find out why treatment wasn’t taking care of some symptoms. They went on to find untreated ebv, Lyme, and bartonella. With the help of their novel SOT treatment and other therapies, I am a functioning human after 9 years of debilitating fatigue. This has been a breakthrough treatment for me. I hope it will be just as successful for other people suffering from chronic ailments.

Dr.Mian is just wonderful! In the six months I’ve been seeing her, I’ve gone from feeling absolutely horrible to better than I have in years. My primary doctor was unable to diagnose my thyroid issues, autoimmune disease or the CIRS I was suffering from due to mold illness. Proactive Wellness Center was recommended to me by my sister, who is in ongoing treatment there. I am so happy I took her advice, because if not, I would continue to be suffering from a multitude of debilitating symptoms long term. I highly recommend this amazing center!

This is an honest review. The only reason I even give 3 stars is bc Jared the NP is fantastic. otherwise I would give 1 star. Sadly most places that offer shockwave are either sports med doctors who cannot do regular appts or chiros who cant do multiple body parts. This place is a MESS. If you dont work or live nearby, go for it, it is worth the hassle. If you work, find someplace else 1) Their hours are for house wives and husbands. (no weekends and 10-6) 2) the booking system is awful. You always get an operator and they have to leave a message and then the scheduler has to call you back but of course if you cannot or are not by your phone, you can play tons of phone tag 3) Most of the staff is rude or dense. When I initially called (again had to leave a message) someone called me back and bc I wanted to book many sessions, they agreed that the NP would come in at 9 even though the hours are 10-5. I showed up at 9, and nobody was there. I rang the doorbell and someone remotely answered and said the hours were 10-6. I then explained that NP Jared had agreed to come in early. Now, if I know the NP's name, and I explain that someone made an exception for me you would think the lady answering would say hold on, let me check. No, she repeated the hours over and over. No matter how many times I explained I knew that but that it has been agreed that the NP was coming in early, she just repeated the hours. It got worse bc by the time I got a call from them, they had assumed I was not showing bc I had not filled out some paperwork online which sound reasonable EXCEPT the guy said "I bet it went spam, people with your mail service always have our emailed routed to spam" IF THEY KNEW that, why would they not check??? 4) the portal is built as if it is 1990 and it takes a lot of time to fill out antiquated and irrelevant forms. I have not seen a medial facility this badly run in my life and I have a lot of medical issues and see lots of practitioners.

I did not have a good experience with this practice at all and I would recommend thinking long and hard before trusting them with your time and money. There are much better concierge medicine practices out there that are professional and organized, unfortuantely this is not one them. My experience: After the initial phone call where they made lots of promises on what they offer, it was all down hill. I tried scheduling the initial appointment three separate times. The first two attempts, one where I used their online system and one I scheduled over the phone, were cancelled on me and I was given the excuse both times that there were glitches in their scheduling system. It was such a hassle to even try to schedule an appointment because I could never get a hold of anyone. I would leave messages with their answering service and never get a response. I asked for my money back (because you have to pre-pay for the first appointment) and magically got a call back. I was given lots of excuses and made promises that my experience would be better and that it's usually not this difficult to get ahold of them, etc. I believed them and went ahead and scheduled the initial appointment for the third time. It went well but that's where things went downhill again. I found out that they were taking out automatic payments every month even though I had paid the full amount up front. I struggled once again to get ahold of anyone to help me. I finally connected with someone and they promised the issue was fixed. Several months after that, I found out the payments had continued to come out. Yet again, I struggled to get ahold of anyone. They finally refunded me but it took almost a week for it all to come through. Honestly, the amount of hassle and stress dealing with this practice is unacceptable. I would never recommend them to anyone.
