Great environment for healing practices!! Not your typical doctors office! The receptionists and the healthcare providers work well together!! Flawless from check in to treatment!!
The staff is very accommodating and attentive to my questions. The provider Michele was excellent. She asked many questions to help get to the root of my concerns and took her time speaking with me. She addressed every question and carefully went over her approach and plan she was considering. She also gave me a printout of supplements that she suggested I start and others to stop. Michele has experience with new patients not to overwhelm them and to go over changes and details and what she is testing for. The blood draw was quick and the technician was so kind ( I wish I could remember her name) Overall, a great experience and looking forward to My second appointment and healing
I am receiving life saving treatment at Kare. I can't say enough! The entire staff is patient and kind to this ol gal. We spend time together every Thursday for my infusions!
I’m sure the care is great if you can afford the premium prices. Before scheduling I called and asked the cost of a first appointment and was told $200 and that I would also have labs drawn for probably $600. She also mentioned the likelihood of other testing, appointments, and services. I’m a teacher and, since my income is fairly low, I asked about payment plans as the combined cost of all of that was overwhelming. I was told I could pay over 12 months. The appointment was $335 and the labs would have been $800, all due upfront with no payment plan available. I actually had a good visit other than a couple of quibbles (e.g., my provider suggesting Mylanta or Pepcid for my GI issues) but I just can’t afford premium care like this. My issue is my original phone call was to avoid exactly this. I will not be returning. Edit: The team reached out with me to resolve this. Once I mentioned the communication was over the phone and explicitly ask for a refund, they did process a refund of the difference between what I paid and what was quoted to me. I very much appreciate that. A full refund would have been better as I have to pay for an initial visit elsewhere and I would have never seen Kare without access to a payment plan. Oh well. I’ll take what I can get. To be clear, I do think Kare has much to offer you if you can afford them. I have never felt so listened to by any provider and have never had so thorough a questioning when establishing issues. My issue was with the financial side, not the provider or the facility.
