I had a great experience at Tri-State Men's Health. The staff took the time to thoroughly explain my lab results, treatment options, and what to expect with testosterone therapy. I never felt rushed, and they made sure all of my questions were answered. I feel confident and well-supported starting this new phase of my health journey.

My experience started off okay. No real improvement in mood or energy, but I did notice better morning "wood" and a slight increase in libido. However, I developed a constant headache. My nurse, Jason, said this was normal. My hematocrit levels rose high enough to require phlebotomies, and I had to be put on an estrogen blocker due to a spike in estrogen — also described as "common." Between August and January, I had labs, phlebotomies, and frequent check-ins where I continued to report headaches. On 1/22/25, I decided to stop injections due to the side effects That’s when I met with Dr. Traci Ernest, who I hadn’t seen since my initial sign up visit. She recommended switching to a gel to avoid hormone level spikes that could cause the headaches. Frustratingly, I learned that Jason — the nurse I’d been speaking to for months — had switched to gel after only two weeks on his injections due to his headaches. He never once mentioned this option to me, which I found extremely aggravating. Still, I agreed to try the gel, hoping for a better experience. It took almost 3 weeks to receive the gel after multiple phone call follow-ups. I was told the pharmacy was hesitant to fill the switch. After a week on the gel, the headaches disappeared — but, as I later discovered, so did my testosterone. I had labs drawn about two months later. I had to ask for the results and was told everything looked fine, except for a slightly elevated liver panel. I then requested they be posted to my portal and saw that testosterone and estrogen were not even tested, despite those being the two medications I was on. They said my labs were good, BUT THEY DID NOT EVEN NOTICE MY TESTOSTERONE OR ESTROGEN WERE NOT TESTESTED till I pointed it out. That's when i realized they do not care about you, they just want your money. Traci later apologized via text. I expressed that I was extremely unhappy with the care, especially being told my labs were fine when they didn’t even test the 2 most important things i am taking medication for. I asked to cancel my plan. Traci reccommended I stay another month saying I’d need medication to safely stop treatment. I agreed to continue temporarily just to get that medication. I got another lab done, required to get the medication to get off testosterone. I had to request the results again. I then requested the medication to safely stop TRT. They told me I had to come in to sign a treatment cancellation form, and scheduled me for 5/28/25 —that was 16 days later, and conveniently the last day of my billing cycle. When I showed up and signed the form, I was told I would not receive the medication, because I had already stopped treatment. I followed all their instructions and was denied the very medication I was told I needed to safely stop. Now for the refund: They claimed I owe $2,566 for 9 months of treatment, even though a 1-year plan costs $2,699 ($224/month). Also they were charging me another month cause they scheduled my cancelation meeting the last/first day of the billing cycle.. Remember they scheduled it that day when I called to schedule it 16 days before.By that math, 9 months should be about $1,950. I’m being charged $600+ more than expected. This feels deceptive and completely contradicts what I was told during my intial consultation. They charge more in the starting months of a plan to reduce the refund amount saying it's for all their services. This was not what I was told at sign up. I was told I would be refunded unused months of service. It is not a monthly fee, it's a whatever they want to charge you to reduce refund. Shady! Bad service, bad communication, shady sales tactics, untruthful, lack of care. I do not recommend them, go somewhere else

We were recommended by a friend who is a patient. My husband became a patient about a week ago. From the Scheduling process to the medical examination/lab work/recommendations even to financing it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a medical office. The gentleman up front Marc made things extremely smooth was very warm, and made us feel comfortable ( I mean let’s face it if you’re looking into a facility that deals with men’s health it’s not always the most comfortable feeling internally and nerves were a little tense driving over to the apt. ) Marc offered a smile and a coffee and got us seen so quickly I was still putting creamer in my coffee as we were heading back to be examined. All of the nursing staff had exceptional bed side manner and were super professional and educational when going over results, and recommendations/ treatment plan they made everything super understandable. The gentleman in financing was also exceptional. He broke everything down for us and explained every step of the billing and what is covered/included was also very funny and knowledgeable about everything. He also made sure the financing option that we chose was the right fit for us. Since the visit my husband has had MAJOR improvements and changes within just a week! From his lifts in the gym, and recovering from them to just overall motivation, and happiness throughout the day. We are so grateful for this establishment, and what they provide to the community. We have also had an open line of communication with the office for any questions and follow up. They’ve checked in with us. Marc has reached out to see how things were going and to also update us on all the tracking information for medications which were delivered timely,(one of them came the next morning the 2nd came the day after that ) both packaged very nicely with proper information and prescription info included. The office was also in a very nice building and was clean organized and very aesthetically pleasing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone Experiencing situations that this health facility provides care for. Can’t say enough great things about this place.

Thank you Tri-State! You’ve been the biggest blessing. My husband started going there about a year ago and I have noticed a huge positive change for him. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Traci was so informative and helped my husband to understand his options. They took some blood and helped cater his treatment plan to what exactly was needed. We sat down with the treatment coordinator, Evan, and he explained everything so thoroughly. We didn’t feel pressured or like we were being pushed treatment. He told us what to expect, that it takes time to get things exactly right, the cost and even cancellation policy. It took a little time to get everything just right. I really couldn’t be happier that we did this. I got my husband back! He has energy and confidence again! Like he was when we first met 15 years ago and I love it! Ladies, it’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Be prepared to spend $$$$s (a year of Tx) and it still may not work. My husband had ED issues. They gave him a trial dose in the office & it "seemed" to work, talked it all up, & how they could sol e his issue. We tried it in two days at home (earliest they said we could try again) and it worked for about 5 minutes (they weren't able to test how long it would last in the office). The Tx they gave him (a shot in his 'member') was PAINFUL and didn't work at all beyond 5 minutes. We did two Tx & went back for a consultation due to the pain & lack of success. They said to increase the dose slightly, even though the practitioner who originally prescribed the initial dose said, "Do NOT increase the dose ever." After giving the 3rd dose, with increased, my husband had a HUGE SORE form on his member within about 5 minutes, and it got worse for about a week days (it was ugly). When we contacted the office they weren't interested in helping figure it out & said WE did something wrong (did what & how we were told). It took almost THREE months for the sore to heal & I treated it with OTC ointments & wrapped with gauze. I actually seriously considered taking him to hospital one night he was in so much pain & I was afraid infection was setting in. Again. he called them, they weren't interested in seeing him nor concerned about his issue, just said don't do another Tx until cleared up, and if we were really concerned go to hospital. After four months, THEY called him to check in. They didnt seem to have any record of issues nor re concern. Upon being told there was no way he was going to continue the prescribed Tx, they wanted him to sign up for another year of a dofferent Tx (again $$$$s) promising they could find a solution to his problem. Unfortunately, we do NOT have an endless supply of $ and it seemed like a huge money grab, lack of caring, and professional ethics Don't waste your $$$.
