My father had a massive stroke at 45 and then a heart attack after struggling for 5 years to come back half paralyzed only to die at 50ish. All my uncle's and grandparents all died from heart disease by 55. When I came to see Dr. Barber at 45 my heart doctor did not have any good news or preventive options. He only offered pills and eventually death or worse. Since my first visit with Dr. Barber my condition has not only been halted from progressing, it has almost reversed and hardly noticed at age 60 by me or my physicians. I have a healthy heart now! Dr. Barber and team played a huge part in my newfound hope, stopped my advancing heart disease, and started body repairs. Even my bone density has improved since I was 45. I’ve been on the program 15 years, and it has not only done what I needed, it has helped in everything! I never expected to see 50! And I wanted to see my girls high school graduations. Not only did I see them graduate, I put them both through college to be teachers and now enjoy three grandchildren plus another grandchild on the way. My quality of life improved substantially and allowed me to run multiple successful businesses when I almost wrote myself off at 45 years of age 15 years ago!

I've been a client of Better Life Carolinas for years now, and the one thing that stands out to me is that, at Better Life Carolinas, they treat you like they truly care about you. It starts as soon as you walk in the door. On most visits, the first face I see is Ashlyn. Unlike typical "sick care' doctor's offices, who tend to be very plastic and emotionless, she greets you with a happy face and courtesy. I get the same behavior from all the staff and doctors at BLC. I also enjoy the results we have achieved, which is I will continue to be a client.

I’ve received several treatments here, but my favorite are the immunity boosting IV’s. I feel amazing after them, and would recommend them to anyone during flu season and also before traveling. I can’t wait to return for an aesthetic treatment, as they offer many options! The staff couldn’t be more friendly, and the atmosphere of their office is very calming. Better Life will treat you like family, and that’s hard to find! You’re never too old or too young to take control of your health.

Dr. Barber and her staff are wonderful! They really care about my individual health needs and are working with me to achieve my goals. I definitely do not get this kind of attention from my primary care doctor.

If I had not discovered this program and not joined this practice I would not be alive to enjoy the fruits of my labors of 42 years of a busy dental practice.
