I had an awesome first appointment with Nicolie Houdek, CNP at Medical Specialists in Edina, MN. She took plenty of time to ask me questions and get to know me, and also let me speak and ask any questions I had and hear me out, which I feel is pretty rare these days. She’s friendly, warm, and extremely knowledgeable, and answered my questions in a way that’s extremely easy to understand, and I feel like she genuinely cares and wants to help. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone I know. I would give her more stars if I could! Excellent experience so far!☺️

I was referred to Dr. Angela Elliott, APRN, CNP, WHNP at Medical Specialists in Edina, MN to help with my ever-changing hormones. From the very first appointment, she took the time to truly listen to my concerns and frustrations and worked with me to create a thoughtful plan to help balance my hormones. Dr. Elliott also referred me to another incredible member of the team, Olesia, their Wellness Coordinator, who spoke with me in depth about utilizing GLP-1s to help address my perimenopause-related weight gain. After trying so many things with no success, this treatment finally made a difference. Since starting the injections—along with a strong commitment to eating healthy and working out, with a focus on strength training —I am proud to say I have lost the weight. This did not happen overnight, but Olesia has been instrumental in keeping me accountable and supported, providing monthly personalized care throughout my menopause journey. I cannot praise Medical Specialists enough and highly encourage anyone struggling with hormone-related concerns to take the first step and book an appointment.

Great place to get your hormones checked. If you have had a hysterectomy this is the place to go to get your hormones at normal levels. I’ve been going there for several years! Great positive atmosphere for women and men!

I’ve searched for answers and especially treatments for hormonal problems. Not very difficult to diagnose at least as someone medically trained but find a practitioner or clinic willing to lift a finger ? Forget it. Until I found this clinic. Unlike other clinics that refuse to budge from the tiniest dot in the absolute 1% center of the reservation this clinic was willing and able based on established medical science to explore and offer diagnostic testing through reputable sources like Quest, then offer clinician managed treatment protocols. Believe me. No clinic in Minnesota much less the greater metro will deviate from the best practice standards I recommend this clinic

I had an amazing Hydrafacial with Jenny at Medical Specials! My skin has never looked better—she cleared up my face beautifully and removed all those stubborn blackheads. The entire experience was so relaxing and soothing. Jenny was professional, gentle, and really knowledgeable about skincare. I left with my skin feeling clean, fresh, and glowing. Highly recommend her if you want real results and a calming, pampering experience!
