The intake process was thorough but straightforward, with questions designed to assess my overall health and fitness—not just my weight concerns and goals. Tiffany, my intake clinician, efficiently took my blood pressure, conducted basic diagnostics, and asked additional health-related questions before guiding me through a detailed Body Composition Analysis, including my Basal Metabolic Rate. She also reviewed my results briefly and offered helpful advice, such as increasing my exercise routine, drinking more water, and incorporating more lean proteins and healthy fats into my diet, as recommended by the Genesis Lifestyle protocols. Next, I met with Eric, the nurse practitioner, who explained the clinic’s team-based approach and laid out a clear, practical plan to help me reach my weight loss and overall health goals. I really appreciated how thoughtful and sensible his guidance was. Before I left, Heather, the Practice Manager, checked in with me to ensure I felt comfortable with the plan and answered any questions I had. She explained my options for either coming into the office for medication administration or attending a class to learn how to do home injections. They also offer supplements and Vitamin B6 and B12 options, which have reportedly been effective for other patients. The entire team made me feel supported and confident about moving forward with the plan.
