Dr. Rice is amazing she changed my life, I’m so grateful for her. I’m 32 and my back pain had no end in sight. I went to urgent care went to physical therapy… things were getting worse because of my job. I thought I would have to switch careers until I met with Dr. Rice. She fixed me and now I love life again
I started with this practice in early summer for hormone help..at first it was ok but then it was a constant fight to get any phone calls returned; messages given etc I could never get into the patient portal & now I will be without my HRT because the practitioner has left & a “new one” is not available until January. I get things happen but the communication at this practice has been horrible & I am extremely angry & frustrated. I feel they do not care at all. I am so very disappointed. Now I need to “shop” & start over so I can get my hormones on track. Do better QOMC.
Ian Schapiro is the best in the area. I’m glad to have been a patient of this practice for several years.
I called multiple times inquiring about a prior authorization. I was told that a referral needed to be submitted to the insurance company in order to determine whether I would be approved or not. I called twice, once before my referral was sent and again after. Each time, I was told that someone would contact me once the referral was either approved or denied, and that we could schedule from there. Today, I called to check the status, as it has been about two weeks. A woman answered and placed me on hold for about 10 minutes. When she returned, I asked her to check the status of my prior authorization, and she placed me on hold again for another 7 minutes. I was then transferred to someone in the insurance department. At that point, I tried to explain what I had been previously told, but the representative, whose name I believe was Maury (not sure of the spelling), repeatedly interrupted me and did not allow me to speak. When I asked if I could finish speaking, she dismissively responded, “I already told you what your benefits were,” without addressing any of my other questions or acknowledging the conflicting information I’d been given by other staff. Her tone was rude and her attitude completely unacceptable. I will be taking my care elsewhere. She should not be working in customer service if that’s the way she communicates with patients.
