View all on GoogleI was told the office is no longer accepting new patients, however I just referred someone who is able to make an appointment after bloodwork. We had a complication with medical coding from the office that took me almost 8 months to get resolved with our insurance company. Hard to not feel discriminated against for asking the Office to correct the error.
Just read a review where a woman had voice changes, I had the same. Dr Glasser speeds thru so fast and does’t listen to my concerns. She had my Testosterone over 1000. To a point my hair was falling out. Told her the issues after the first raised dose cycle. She had raised my dose with zero medical testing or reason to show I needed it. She then again gave me the same dose the next visit after my concerns that lasted another 3-4 months to extreme Hair loss. She claims it does not cause hair loss but oddly there is literature all around her office about combatting hair loss. I feel she doesn’t test blood often enough and we are run thru like an assembly line all day, no insurance taken just $$$.
It took my a year to write this and I feel some guilt in doing so, but people need to know. I received hormone pellets for over a year. I had labs drawn initially but then no follow up labs were ordered or performed for a year. So I go in and tell her I think I need to back down the dose. I explained that I was having some negative side effects including voice changes. She was applauded that I suggested the hormones could change my voice. She told me I would more likely have throat cancer than voice changes related to testosterone pellets. I scheduled a throat ultrasound and everything. I moved and had to find a new doctor. Before he would administer pellets he said he needed to do labs. He was also very surprised by the large amount of testosterone I was receiving. He called the next day with my lab results. My testosterone levels were insanely high and my estrogen was zero. He automatically said you have to be having voice changes and other negative side effects!! Dr. Glaser made feel ridiculous for questioning the effects of testosterone. My voice is much better after being off the testosterone for months but sometimes the effects are permanent. Listen to your body. Ask the questions and if you are made to feel stupid, talk to someone else.
I've been on testoterone ointment, had the shots which didn't help at all. After Dr. Glaser explained to me why ointment and shots alone don't work I decided to give it a try and I am so glad that I did. TRT gave me a new life and they are well worth it!
A trusted healthcare professional. Dr Glaser and staff are wonderful. I've been getting testosterone pellets for two years...fewer hot flashes, somewhat better sleep but the true benefit of the pellet is great sex!
