Dr. Gittens is the best Sexual Medicine doctor in the Northeast! I am a practitioner in internal-medicine and find him knowledgeable, caring, compassionate. Dr. Gittens listens to your concerns and finds the best way to help. He is a Doctor’s Doctor! I have been a patient since he opened his doors. I will be a patient until the end. He is truly the best in the field !

I spent so long talking to several of my local doctors - primary care, OB/GYN, psychologists - and no one could ever give me an answer to my rapidly decreasing libido. I spent months doing my own research and was convinced it had to do with my hormones. I finally decided to search for a specialist to handle my delicate situation and came across Dr. Gittens and his office and it looked very promising. Given that all the specialists no longer took insurance for these kinds of matters I made an appointment with his office thankful that they accepted Care Credit! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Aside from himself and his staff being very professional and kind, they are also very personable. Thanks to Dr. Gittens, I have been able to find out what my issue was (hormones!) and even find out where and when the issue stemmed from! I am currently in treatment (which is the simplest fix) and my levels have greatly inscreased and I am on the road to recovery and feeling great! My libido is back in action and my relationship has definitely been saved as it was in danger of failing very soon if I hadn’t corrected this issue.

I referred a patient to Dr. Gittens based on the positive reviews for a concern outside my specialty. Unfortunately it was a horrible experience; money-centric with a cookie-cutter one-size-fits-all factory approach. Doctors, we can do better than this nonsense. Let’s be better and actually try to help people: it’s our sacred duty and privilege. Once they had his credit card info on file, they created fake follow up appointments for him which he became aware of only through unauthorized credit card charges for “no shows”. People seeking help should not be preyed upon. Do better.

At first I was hesitant to see a male physician but after I met with Dr. Gittens he made me feel comfortable. He’s very caring, down to earth and very professional. He’s the best physician I’ve seen.
