MidSouth Integrative Medical

I really try not to post negative reviews. EVER. I think there’s already enough negativity in the world. But I have genuinely never had an experience like this. If you are looking for a doctor’s office, STEER CLEAR of Midsouth Integrative Medical. From the very first time I went, things have felt off, but I tried to push it off as just anxiety. We switched to Midsouth Integrative Medical when my youngest daughter was born. Last January, I took my oldest daughter there to be tested for Flu and Strep. They had us pull to the back, came to the car and took her blood pressure, nurse came out and spoke to me like I was basically dumb for bringing her for a fever. That was the extent of the visit. I thought it was odd, but again I was in the thick of postpartum anxiety and thought I was just being crazy. After the experience with the nurse, I shared with their office that I was very dissatisfied with the treatment we received at our visit and told them that they didn’t even take my daughter’s vitals— not even her temperature when I brought her in for a FEVER. Since they made the mistake and didn’t take her vitals, I had to take her BACK up there same day for their mistake. This same scenario has also happened to my sister in law and she has had to take her child back up there because they failed to take vitals. Fast forward to the summer, I took my youngest up there for a sick visit. Same thing, pulled up, they came to the car, they actually took her vitals this time. Great. Then, they told me they were going to charge me an extra $50 on top of my copay to “put on hold” on her account “in case I ever cancel an appointment in the future.” I have never had a doctor’s office require this especially when I’ve never cancelled an appointment. Immediately I was skeptical. Then, in January of this year, I received a $25 bill for my oldest— which I found odd because she has not been back there since last January because I switched her to another office. I called and asked what it was for since it had been a year since she was even seen in office. At first, they couldn’t even find her in their system because they had her BIRTHDAY WRONG! IN HER MEDICAL RECORD! They said I did not pay my copay at the January 2025 appointment. Odd that they’re just now finding this. I told them that I had recently switched my children’s doctor, and they can just use the weird $50 hold to pay the copay. She said that would be fine. I thought the problem was solved. Today, I get ANOTHER $25 for my oldest for the same appointment day— which I can only assume is the copay for the SECOND appointment that day when I had to come BACK UP THERE because they failed to do their job correctly. I can only assume that because I have called all day long and keep getting a voicemail. Again, I normally never speak negatively about businesses, but I am so beyond aggravated at this situation. So, if you are looking for a medical provider, I would NOT suggest Midsouth Integrative Medical.

I just started going to MIM for chiropractic care! I am so thankful for Dr. Tyler for giving me immediate relief dealing with my back issues on a moments notice before heading out of town for the week. Ashleigh P. in billing has also been extremely helpful dealing with my health savings account that rejected a payment back for documentation. I can’t wait to get back in town to see Dr. Tyler again and continue using MIM for all my future health and chiropractic needs. Thank you again Ashleigh for answering all my billing questions!

Office staff and billing is incredibly incompetent. After 12 months of billing issues and screw ups on their end (on the medical and chiropractic side), I decided to just let it all go, even though they owed us money. My EOBs NEVER matched what they were charging me at each appointment AND the front desk and billing lady would reassure me multiple times that she would check on things and get it sorted out, but never did, despite me going in the office multiple times to follow up. HOWEVER in January, I felt trapped (not having found another pediatrician yet) and needed to schedule my newborn for an appointment to check his bilirubin. I specifically stated this is the only reason for the appointment. When we show up for the appointment, Molly comes in and proceeds to tell us that the front desk should never have made that appointment for us because they do not have the supplies or equipment to draw the blood for the testing. "We don't do that here and you coming in today was a complete waste of your time." That's fine; I understand that although they boast in newborn care, they do not have enough patients to justify keeping certain supplies on hand. So, after having been told by the provider herself that we wasted our time and the appointment was made by mistake and she couldn't help us that day, they still proceeded to not only charge my insurance, but also charge us a copay 8 months later! I had my entire family as patients at this practice and nothing ever went smoothly or even routinely for us. There were many other issues with diagnosing things for my other baby, but again, I have tried to move past this and have successfully found another provider. So, this bad review is for the office staff! Poor experience OVERALL though!

We absolutely LOVE Molly Dunson at the Southaven office! It is the best service we’ve ever had at any doctors office. Highly recommend!

I have been using Midsouth Integrated for my various back issues for over a year. Trevor listened to my concerns and explains treatment. My back has improved significantly in a few visits.
